Located in the Treme neighborhood, Armstrong Park is named after one of the most famous jazz musicians in the world and one of New Orleans&rsquo; most beloved sons - Louis Armstrong.

Starting underneath the park&rsquo;s famed lighted arched entrance, explore the area originally known as Congo Square &ndash; one of the first locations in the city where enslaved people and free people of color were allowed to gather and socialize.
