Dress warmly! The afternoon may start warm, but as the sun sets, the temperature can be as low as around 20 degrees Fahrenheit.

Embark on an enchanting journey on this Sunset Tour, where the breathtaking beauty of Haleakala National Park unfolds before your eyes.

Throughout the tour, your knowledgeable local guide shares captivating Hawaiian history, legends, and insider tips, enriching your exploration. Chilled bottled water and local treats are included, offering a refreshing taste of Hawaii.

Experience an awe-inspiring sunset, free from the hustle and bustle of sunrise crowds. This small group tour on a mini coach is the perfect way to experience the natural wonders and pristine landscape of Maui.

As you ascend the slopes of Haleakala, marvel at the rare Silversword plant and keep an eye out for the majestic Nene geese gracefully flying overhead. Before the sun bids its farewell, explore the arid desert landscape with panoramic views of Kula and upcountry Maui, creating the perfect prelude to the evening’s spectacle.

Dusk sets in, and as if on cue, the clouds’ part, revealing a mesmerizing display of fading sunlight. Witness a symphony of colours dancing across the sky, creating a magical light show that will leave you in awe. Your vantage point at an elevation of 9,740 ft offers a sunset view that cannot be surpassed any place on earth. The Haleakala Visitor Center Overlook Areas provide the perfect vantage point to soak in the beauty of the changing landscape, transforming from arid desert to fertile farmland during the descent.

Finally, enjoy a delicious 'to go' dinner from Kula Bistro.
