Start your day with a tour of the Valley&rsquo;s very first winery, Sevenhill&nbsp;Cellars.&nbsp;This sacred site was&nbsp;built by&nbsp;the society of Jesuits in 1851 and is home to some of the oldest vines in&nbsp;Australia, planted from cuttings taken from Bungaree Station. These vines were&nbsp;tended by the men of faith, some of whom still lie in the onsite crypt. It&rsquo;s&nbsp;an awe-inspiring story that sets the tone for the day.

From here, travel on back roads and private property, through rolling vineyards and farmland with stunning views of Polish Hill River and beyond.&nbsp;There&rsquo;s no shortage of incredible photo opportunities.

Established around&nbsp;1847 as an overnight stop for Ox drays carting the rich ore of the Burra Mines&nbsp;to Port Wakefield, the heritage-listed town is known for its world-class slate.&nbsp;It&rsquo;s also home to the first Jesuit church built in Australia.

Experiencing more of the famous country hospitality is on the cards, so in the afternoon you will head west into the Skillogalee Valley. Contrast the wines here from those in the east as we choose between award-winning wineries like Kilikanoon, Mitchell, Penna Lane, Eldredge and Jeanneret.&nbsp;You&rsquo;ll visit at least a couple of these before your memorable day is done!

Drunken, disruptive and uncontrollable behaviour will not be tolerated at any time. 
Wineries reserve the right to refuse entry and service to intoxicated persons. 
No alcohol, food or beverages other than water or what is provided by the driver is to be 
consumed or permitted on the vehicle at any time. Sealed purchases are exempt. 
The Operator may use images taken on the Tour for marketing purposes.
