This fully guided experience&nbsp;is aimed at the more curious and discerning traveller to gain an insight into the early settlement of the Valley, the beginnings of the wine industry in South Australia, and taste some fantastic wines&nbsp;and produce along the way.&nbsp;

Take a look at the Forefathers of the region, Horrocks, Gleeson and Hawker, with a quick tour around Clare Township&#39;s historic sights to set the tone for the day. Take a guided&nbsp;tour of the Valley&rsquo;s very first winery, Sevenhill&nbsp;Cellars and the&nbsp;historic station complex of Bungaree Station to learn the connection between the two sites.&nbsp;Sevenhill Cellars was&nbsp;built by&nbsp;the society of Jesuits in 1851 and is home to some of the oldest vines in&nbsp;Australia, planted from cuttings taken from Bungaree Station. These vines were&nbsp;tended by the men of faith, some of whom still lie in the onsite crypt.

You&#39;ll travel the back roads as much as possible while enjoying the quintessential rural landscapes of Clare Valley.
